The State of Play

I have had my 26th Birthday and met a beautiful woman. So things are looking good but as I sit hard done by in the recession I wonder a few things once more. But time is not my friend today and I must write later. After dinner perhaps.

Stay tuned.

The Second Renaissance

I've just caught a little TV giving a brief history into the Renaissance and how Issac Newton was a major contributor to the understanding of light with his experiments on the division of light through a prism.
This reminded me about my hope to see not an end to our civilisation in a biblical sense but the end of an era of science and technology. As I watch mans advancement come to an end after the steam and iron age I cannot help but ponder the possibilities of "what's next".
Are we opening the phoetal doors on flying cars, teleporters and biological engineering as nano technology is explored. As alternative fuels are sought or as stem cell research goes to continued efforts despite controversy from some.
What am I to make of the Hadron Collider? Shall I expect the end of a world or the harnessing of a power from a theoretical Higgs particle to almost God fearing results.
Firstly Im worried curiousity will kill this cat and that we will not even be given a fleeting thought as our bodies are thrown into a man made black hole. we mayunderstand the science but do we understand the consequences in theory or reality let alone the unforseen results given that we are smashing particles at faster than light speeds in the hope of finding a theory.
Im not an Oxford graduate. Far from it. But if this post is cut short it is because I have drifted beyond the event horizon and cannot be seen, heard or thought of............
In conclusion, where do we go from here?. Perhaps I will post my ideas up later for a constant electrical genrator that reduces CO2 by at least 80% as is my guess. Perhaps I should copyright them first.
Until then, stay creative because this planet is getting boring.

tempus in memoria

I want to take a moment to recognise the loss of our beloved artists Special Make Up FX Stan Winston and my childhood favouirte Tony Hart who created the wonderful Morph.

As I get older; so do my heros and the day I got to meet the man who made me into who I am today was the happiest of my life. Mr Ray Harryhausen. I gave him a thankyou letter and wished him and his friend well a few years back.

I was to meet Stan Winston in the same way alas he had to cancel his schedule over here and I lost a good friend.

I someday too hope to be remembered in time for my efforts as long as the human race survives it's own fate. In time I shall be remembered but more importantly I shall die fulfilled with my loved ones.

RIP: Stan Winston and Tony Hart. xxx

Im not unique I just have a perspective.

My first blog of many I hope. It's all well and good not being sure what to write but I assure you that readers will go through moments of hatred, confusion, love, acceptance, understanding and a range of other emotions Im sure that will earn me friends and enemies .

Such is the wonderment of human emotion and it's own perspective in order to deal with the now.
